From Mark Ravinski,
My sinceere condolences to all associated with
these accidents.
Several other aircraft types have had developmental
problems which seem to follow a similar pattern.
The Piper Malibu, Mitsubishi MU-2 and before them,
the Beech Bonanza come to mind.
These were ahead of their time and were
of a higher performance standard.
They were within reach of many general aviation
pilots, some of whom had mimimal experience.
If I recall correctly, the Malibu was a challenge
for pilots unfamiliar in coping with altitude
and weather.
We should be mindful about asking for more
regulations.
