The same problem was discovered during the
construction of N750DW, Dr. David Weinsweigs IV-PT. I
felt that this was unacceptable!!! The fix is easy and
quick. Determine which wing is closest to the correct
incidence, then remove the rear spar plates from the
other wing, flox the holes with a very wet mix.
Reinstall the wing, position the wings and mark the
bolt position. Remove the wing and redrill the bolt
holes in the rear spar. When you reinstall the spar
plates, use Hysol/flox. The wings on our turbine are
now identical according to the smart level.
