Dave,
Front seats in cars are given airbags and yet I
haven't seen one in an airplane. On the other hand
airliners don't provide shoulder harness for their
passenger. I guess in a plane crash you typically (not
necessarily though) get more advance warning than in a
car crash and the passengers can take a crash position
(head against the front seat) when they know they're
going down. Have I said something stupid ? Let the
experts chime in.
But hey safety first, and I'm well willing to look
into putting safety harnesses in the back seats too.
Have many out there already done that ? With or
without inertia reel ?
