Yes!! Good Job!
I can relate to your feelings! I just had my first hop Dec 26th, which I kept conservative and tight to the field.
I made 1 circuit and slipped to a landing, just to keep as high as possible for as long as I could.
Like you, I remember little of the airframe behavior, I was so attuned to the engine. Thankfully, I had recent training, and the plane is a peach.
Good luck! With your comment on the turbo manifold, I'll continue close inspections of mine.
We are a much smaller group than any Lycoming or Continental support group, so I hope we stick together!

Good job, Chris! And ditto the turbo. Did you remove it?

Chris,

Thanks for the flight report. So, what happened to the turbo?

Mark

Just one circuit at Pearland Municipal -LVJ (formerly Clover Field).

noted engine speed a bit over 6500 rpm and prop kissing 2800 (not sure the
exact corresponding numbers hoe the two cuz when I saw 6500, I throttled
back and then noticed the high prop speed on the Dynon SkyView.
