Hi all
Just a note to all thinking of running Evans coolant in the rotary, I gather there would have been contributing factors to what has been found but just a small word of caution.
I have just pulled apart my renises for an upgrade after just 400 hrs, found upon disassembly that at the front iron exhaust port that the coolant had cooked in the water jacket and turned to sludge thus there wasn't any coolant circulating past this port it had completely blocked the flow paths around this port entirely, no more damage was done but wouldn't have liked to see it after many hrs.
The engine had always run at 104c so was always running on the warm side.
Just a cautionary note for anyone thinking or running this coolant.
Cheers
Christian
