That is VERY much what it felt like.
I must admit most my focus was on the engine and not on the airframe, even though it too has little testing.

Well, it took several months and countless frustrations following an engine out a while back; but I flew my N/A 13b powered Velocity SE today. Just one circuit at Pearland Municipal -LVJ (formerly Clover Field).
I have yet to notice any squawks and the engine seemed smooth and responsive. I had to coursen the IVO in-flight adjustable prop a bit as I noted engine speed a bit over 6500 rpm and prop kissing 2800 (not sure the exact corresponding numbers hoe the two cuz
when I saw 6500, I throttled back and then noticed the high prop speed on the Dynon SkyView.
I need to down load the Dynon data log and see what I may have missed.
I figured some of y'all may be curios.
