The engine has a stock water temp sender next to
the oil pressure switch. I will try using that to send temp information to my
engine monitor. If that does not work, I will install another temp
sending unit like the one that came stock in the water pump
housing.
Glad to hear you're getting real numbers
now, give or take that silly metric system :-) I'm not sure
what the specs are on the stock sensor, but you can get aftermarket
sensors that fit the rear housing hole. The thread is M10 x 1.0,
and egauges.com has them in at least the VDO range of
resistance.
