Hi Peter, You are exactly correct. The owner is hoping for a short sale. We are taking offers in the form of a Purchase and Sale Agreement document for the owner to take to the bank. If his bank approves the short sale the best offer P&S Agreement becomes binding after the buyer does a pre-buy or inspects the aircraft and agrees that it is the airplane he wants to buy. And it will be. I have been flying and maintaining this aircraft since 2007 and I can assure you it is wll worth what he is going to sell it for. The aircraft is not perfect and all of the squawks are listed on the spec sheet I am sending out from request. This is going to be one of those super deals that you hear about. I wish it had not come to this to have to sell it this way but I don't get to make the big decisions ($$$$) with this aircraft. It has been a great plane and I have enjoyed flying it all over the lower 48 for the owner and I will dearly miss it along with the company credit card that feeds it.
If someone here is interested you had better move swiftly to get your offer in. I have e-mailed out 13 P&S agreements today and I think something is going to happen this week. You may contact me directly through the barnstormers add. I hate to see this sell so cheaply, I have another 4P turbine in my shop we are finishing up on.
Happy landings, Swaid Rahn

hi there
this sale should give us an interesting view on the saleability of our airplanes.
clearly this is a "short sale;" that is the bank does not want to own it and the seller does not want to pay the shortfall to the bank.
the seller is "under water" or "upside down" in the loan v. value department
and in all likelihood the buyer is going to have to show "proof of funds"
