The problem with your true track can be adjusted to improve the responses. By adjusting the Roll Gain “Lat Torque” or GPS Gain. These adjustments I used the correct the same problem with my Lancair Legacy which has a G900x with true track Sorcerer. Refer to your installation manuals for these adjustments. Unfortunately the Garmin G7x autopilot has no adjustments available so I cannot fix my Evolution flight characteristics. On my 4P, Chelton, Sorcerer, the autopilot is also rock solid in AP mode but hunts, or wing wiggles, in GPSS mode. ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Monday, October 22, 2012 9:08 AM Subject: Re: [LML] My Lancair Evolution G7x autopilot anomalies Interesting enough I have issues with my autopilot as well, funny thing is when I am using the Sorcerer as Autopilot it is steady as a rock, and does not have this wing wiggling (which I totally understand how frustrating and annoying this is), but when I am using the Garmin G3X as autopilot input it also is unstable, rocks, turning etc is unstable etc. So my guy feeling says that you are stumbling on a specific Garmin issue. Where it almost seems like the Garmin is doing too much with sending steering signals to the autopilot, where the sorcerer almost looks like it 'dampens' the signals (I have not other way to put it, I hope you understand?) Did you had the sorcerer before and upgraded to the G7x? == Ronald (Lancair 4p, 180 hours, Velocity 340 hours, Cirrus 1100 hours)
