Thanks everyone for the good advice in rudder balance. In order to get a balance I made almost all of the counterweight lead and extended it ¼ inch into the stab. But it is balanced now. Cured the starter problem by moving the battery to aft side of firewall and ran plus side directly to the start relay, since I lost lots of amps in the master relay. Still haven’t gotten the EAA scales for a tentative w&b. Can some of the 360 drivers tell me where your battery and hydraulic pump is located and what are the weights on your mains and nose gear? I want to see If I am in the ballpark.
