Subject: Re buying a Lancair.
Message-ID: <003b01bfe160$913bf940$59f5acce@default>
I was interested in Byron Fox's mail re the A&P/ CFI who has experience on
the 360
.
.
.
Incidentally does anyone know the status of the factory 360 and when it
might be serviceable?
Regards
Ian Crowe.
Ion,
My suggestion is to, first of all, find a local CFI who would be willing to train you in the Lancair. Secondly, have the factory pilot come out and train the CFI.
This should save the most money. If the CFI is experienced in high performance aircraft, he should be able to learn the Lancair within one day.
Good Luck,
