Okay, I got what I was looking for -- an open discussion of what might be done when observing dangerous construction practices by others.  I'm not sure what more there is to say on the issue other than I appreciate the comments and the diversity of opinion.

As for myself, my attitude is "if you see something I'm doing wrong, please tell me."  I have fairly thick skin, but that doesn't mean I want it smacking into the ground at 200 knots...
