This is one of the few places that the recommended 235 fuel system is
correct. The two ports are necessary because with some fuel in the tank one
or the other will not give fuel in a steep climb or decent. Also the lines
must be in Y configuration shown and neither run parallel to the tank
bottom. Sketch a tank tilted up or down about 15° and you will see. Risking
unporting is preferable to surely having available fuel unavailable to a
port. Think descending through a hole or making a go around with low fuel.
This is another reason for using header last. In level flight my wing tanks
empty completely, but wouldn't in a decent.
