The company 360 at Lancair has the 1) momentary down, 2) neutral, 3) lock-up
switch that Skip mentioned. My switch is the spring loaded momentary in both
directions (with a slab of aluminum shaped like a flap and threaded onto the
toggle handle). When I took my instruction with Doug in Redmond, on one of the
approaches I put the flaps down and then adjusted them up a little. On the
ground I discovered they had "adjusted" all the way up. Not a bad landing, but
I was concerned that I hadn't really been in control. I decided I preferred the
"positive" control.
