I used the UV smoothprime on the bottom of my ES fuselage, rolling it on as
described in the manual. It is easy to apply and sand and seems to fill
pinholes as well as WLS (which I tried as well). It seems to me that the
big advantage of the Polyfiber system over WLS is that it is non toxic and
cleans up with water. I haven't tried the Top Gloss but am seriously
considering it because I can do it myself without worrying about my brain
cells and save on what would otherwise be a $5000-$6000 paint job. I
talked with a guy at Alexander SportAir who used it on a Europa with
success. I've heard that a lot of labor is involved in getting show
quality with the Top Gloss (buffing and wet sanding to blend boo boos), but
I'd rather have a Stormscope than an Oshkosh champion finish. I would also
be interested in what others have heard about the system or about any
direct experience.
