I have a new IO360, can anyone fill me in on the "oil-air seperator"
"breather" situation.<<<<
I found that all the commercially available air/oil separators were too big
to nicely fit on my firewall. So, I made my own out of available aluminum
parts and it measures about 2" OD and about 4 inches tall with a drain on
the bottom. It works good too. If there is enough interest and Marve
would like, I will send him a drawing and picture for inclusion in the
Lancair Network News along with some instructions. You need to find a
friend with a TIG welder though. Prop repair shops will be able to do the
welding.
Making your own oil/air is not rocket science. Of course, if you can find
an existing air/oil separator that fits, go for it.
