I wish I'd thought of putting threads on the stop sleeves. Even if the
sleeves are Al, fine threads should make no difference. Mine have no
threads, and the lock nuts (steel) hold them in place fine. Threads just
make them easier to adjust than trimming to length. Don't forget flats to
hold them in place while tightening the lock nuts.
