Brent is on target with his discussion of partial pressures of O2.  Don't
even think of using compressed air or Nitrox--neither will do you any good
in a reduced pressure environment.  Above 30K ft, even pure O2 is not
enough--at that point you need to add positive pressure breathing in
addition to O2 to even get close to normal partial pressure O2 in the
blood..
