I had the prop of my Cessna 150 dynamically balanced last year. Started out with 0.14 IPS and ended with 0.03 IPS. I agree with you that's it's worth every penny!
I would think that if you started out with 0.45 IPS (three times as bad as mine was to start) it would be hard to read an approach plate clipped to the, um, what DO you clip those to in the Lancair? At 0.14 IPS I could not read the fine print at the bottom but at 0.03 IPS it's just fine.
