On November 14, in the capable hands of Josh Brundgardt, N171MF made it's first flight.  Plane flew well, with just a few electronic glitches.  Wanted to post earlier, but wouldn't dare post on the LML without a picture! :-)
Panel is a 2 screen Chelton, TruTrack autopilot, Advanced Flight Systems engine monitor, and requisite backup instruments.  Electrical is two battery, two buss, two alternator system.  Both batteries, ELT, and hydraulic pump were put right behind the seats, with a vertical wall enclosing the area behind the seats.  Empty weight came out to 1530, and the CG stays within range from empty weight to gross.

Engine is a Performance Engines IO-550-EXP, 370 HP,  10:1 pistons, tuned, ported, polished, balanced, etc.  Lightspeed electronic ignition on one side and magneto on the other.  Not only is the engine externally a work of art, it runs beautifully!

A big thanks to Leighton Mangels, John Halle, Tom Gourley, and everyone else that helped,
