Absolutely! I've been using WxWorx for 2 years with a tablet PC so I'm
already a believer in the system but hated the wires all over the
cockpit. I bought one of the new Garmin 396's about a month ago. Yes,
$2500 seems like a lot of money for a handheld but it's the best bang
for the buck I have ever gotten with avionics...any avionics. This
thing is my new best friend. It's so portable and easy to use I doubt
I will ever travel without it whether by car or airplane. If you don't
have one yet, get it ordered. IMO there is no longer any excuse for
any of us flying blind.
