I've been using WxWorx for 2 years with a tablet PC so I'm already a believer in the system but hated the wires all over the cockpit. I bought one of the new Garmin 396's about a month ago. Yes, $2500 seems like a lot of money for a handheld but it's the best bang for the buck I have ever gotten with avionics...any avionics. This thing is my new best friend. It's so portable and easy to use I doubt I will ever travel without it whether by car or airplane. If you don't have one yet, get it ordered.
