In the February 1998 Flying, Reporting Points Section on page 35 there is
something on a jet powered Lancair  It says that it will use FJX-2 turbofan
engines.  It says it will fly in 2000.

Has anyone seen this airplane or pictures of it?  Is this going to be sold
as a kit or as a certified airplane like the Columbia 300?
