Provided the air is smooth the S-TEC 50 installed in my 320 holds altitude and heading well. Introduce even a little turbulance and the altitude hold can't keep up with pitch oscillations and the heading begins to seek.  Any thoughts here?  I neither built the a/c nor installed the auto-pilot.  So, I'm rather ignorant.
