Is that right? On my LNC2, the redline is 278mph. Not sure
if this is a joke or not, but it sounds like being inverted at 250 knots isn't
a smart idea. Of course the trim tab came off. It's called
flutter.
Gee Scotty, I thought you were planning on racing - 278mph (240 KIAS) might
not be fast enough. Of course, you could give it a try in the Air Venture
Cup Race and see if you can hold it together at any speed for 400 miles.
Angier was reading upside down and was disoriented, although we know Speed
Demon has secrets imbedded in his airplane which probably compensate. Some
of us know that the tab was a recent addition - probably hot glued on.
