indicating over 260 knots, so I typically throttle back to about 70% power
to avoid the problem.

Pleeeeeeeeeeease! The blur is caused when you are hitting yourself on
the forehead with your palm while saying "What am I doing?" Hmmmm,
may you just need glasses instead of guessing at the speed.
