<< Lancair Builders' Mail List >>
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<--->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
After considering the ramifications of adopting an EAA club charter I am unable to
see a clear advantage to the participants here. Consider these points:
This list was formed to promote the free exchange of information among Lancair
builders. Thanks to Marv's parenting skills, this goal is achieved remarkable well.
Most list members are already EAA members.
An EAA club charter will involve additional administrative work, the election of
officers, filing of reports, etc.. all of which will take time away from
building/flying and introduce politicks to the mix.
If I had to give up one membership (LML or EAA) I would give up EAA as the LML is
more valuable to me. I see no reason to make the LML a subset of the EAA. Perhaps
the EAA would like to become a chapter of the LML ;)
If it works (especially if it works well), DON'T F**K WITH IT !!!
Respectfully
