experience is the key to everything....

proposal: go see a friend this weekend..

if you are building, that means go over to your friends who is also
building, and help him for a day..  it will be fun..

if you are flying, take your friend and fly someplace for a burger...
it will be fun.

you will both gain from the experience... it might not be the
best "training" but its "experience"..

hay, we will likely hafta do a 500-2 approach into the AOPA convention
sat morning...  but don't wimp out...  get the experience!

---

I'm still playing with how to get air into the legacy...

its also hard not to pull back on a short runway...  watching
the trees at the other end get bigger and bigger and that airspeed is
still too slow to pull back...  don't pull early and
get into a high AOA!!

the same can be said for that "low approach" gear
up, (yea, kinda fast) and pull to the vertical line (wait...  wait..)
and rudder over...  now you are staring right at the ground...  don't
pull...  don't you dare!!..  wait for airspeed, just like that short
field takeoff, and then pull enough not to get into an accelerated
stall...

this isn't "advanced" stuff..  experience is the key to everything...
