Here are some datapoints taken in N320DK, a Lancair 320 MKII.  I have a stock 160HP IO-320-D1B, Hartzell CS prop.  GW on this day was about 1645lb (empty weight is 1145lb).

Regarding the gear pump and pressure switches:  I have the “new” style switches installed because the originals that came with the 1994 kit were both bad.  I have never had the gear pump cycle while flying or taxiing.  In the hangar it will cycle if there has been a significant ambient temperature change since it was last powered up or it the plane has sat for a week or more.  Even then, it is just a quick burp.
