Bonding Aluminum with Epoxy:

My personal recipe of anti-neutron bombardment and rinsing in purified
rainwater probably needs updating.....

Here's my suggestion:  Science is the process of testing hypotheses, and all
or most of the bonding recipes posted here are just not science at
all---they are just guesses.
Here's what I would like to see happen---

Round up all your best and brightest young scientists ages 12-18 and have
them do the science (and try to get extra credit in school science class or
science fair).

Take a bunch of samples of aluminum and a bunch of types of epoxy (ask for
donations from builders). Write the test plan, do the test matrix, publish
the results (personally I'd like to see it all on the 'net). Great fun,
valuable knowledge. I also suggest cash prizes (I'll contribute!) or free
rides in Lancairs!

I would much rather trust the well-documented test results of a 12-year-old
budding scientist than the trusted hunches of any seasoned veteran builder.
