Just thought I would pass this along since someone mentioned they are having
leak problems.

Loctite makes several Hydraulic Sealants primarily for sealing leaks but
most also function as a thread locking compound.  I have used their
Pneumatic/Hydraulic Seal 545 for several years on "pipe threaded" AN
fittings on both brake and fuel systems... never a leak or seep!

Very handy when the torque is not quite right to get the fitting pointed the
way you want it.  Easy disassembly, resistant to gasoline, oil, Skydrol 500,
water and "is non-fouling, will not foul valves or screens, resists high
pressures and vibration loosening."  Cures in the absence of air in a metal
to metal joint.  I would not use it on flared fittings, just threaded
fittings.  One caution is, "not for use on plastic piping" plus some other
specs you can find on Loctite's website.
