in a turbo system what can this tell me?
Maybe show the temp difference between outside air and compressed cooled air
would signal a problem with the intercoolers. ????

Yes Hal it is way down on the things to get your attention. I didn't even
think mine was hooked up for the first 100 hrs. Finally, when I was back at
Redmond I asked them to hook it up, they said that it was hooked up, go
figure. Well, it does tell you the inlet temp. at the air control valve, or
air carb., and shows the efficiency of the intercoolers. If this temp. gets
too high it will promote detonation but I don't know what number is too high?
Before engine start it is a check on your OAT, in which both should be about
the same. Mine does work and there is a place for the sensor on the
TSIO-550E.

Good Luck on your hauling. I had mine built right at the airport so I missed
out on that trick.
