I have one and it works very well. Since it was installed after my LNC2 was
complete (the original ant. in the vertical stab had a measured VSWR that
was awful on transmit), I "fitted" it behind the rear cockpit bulkhead where
it had to be wrapped into a "C" shape to adhere it to the fuse. wall.
Measured VSWR was reasonable and much better than my original antenna -
which I still use on Com 2, but only for ground, ATIS and the like.

The only glitch noted is that if I'm 10 plus miles out and pointing directly
at or away from a station I'm talking to, they might not hear me. A slight
turn either way and all is well - Bob's antenna (at least in my
installation) seems to be quite directional on some frequencies. Mounted
properly, as in the vert. stab. this may not be an issue.
