Hello group

I keep hearing story after story about Continental engines breaking.  First, the oil pump drive pin shears, then a number of broken crankshafts.  I'm only a few months away from ordering my power plant and these discussions are causing me to worry.

Is Continental ever going to get it right?  When's the last time you heard of a car engine breaking the crankshaft?  Not that I plan on using a car engine but these Cont's dying all the time give me cause for great concern.

Comments, opinions???

Best regards,

D.C. Cox   (90% down and hopefully only 50% to go)
