At OSH and in the Lancair booth, a company was displaying an electrical
as pointed out by Jeff, that's http://www.airplanedeice.com/
Mahar has been flying around with version one of their alternator
for two years, and last apr before SnF put their latest on...
The plane is now Jack Cowell's and he is having the rest of the
system installed.. photos http://rob.com/lancair/SnF/intro/

door window blow outs have all  occurred at high altitude?
as someone who likes a sea level cabin at 8,000'
its easy to get busy and notice a large cabin pressure passing 17,000'
(The over pressure blow off valve is kinda small, and if the
windows are weak, they will depart the airplane before the valve)

boy those turbos make air... very impressive...

something similar for landing/taxi lights?
I'm thinking non HID (simple wiring) 110watt (ouch) 910 Driving series.. what's your idea? (heavy wires :-(
