Here's another worthwhile experience to report.  I just finished painting the
cockpit interior (floor, console interior, battery compartment and hydraulic
pump located behind the seats, and the baggage compartment tunnel).  The paint
used was the fuel tank sealer.  This gives a very satifying shiny look to the
areas and the wiring, tubes, and components stand out nicely.  Also, hydraulic
spills and dirt and grime cleanup much easier since they don't soak into the
fiberglass.  It was a lot of work because I had to strip out all the components
before paint, but fortunately I had protected for clearances to get the
longitudinal push tube and all hydraulic tubes out.  This was also useful
because it caused me to place hands on components I hadn't touched in a while.  Best Regards,
