Hi everyone,

I am building L-360 with a A1A carburated engine. I am ready to install the engine cowling. I don't have the right propeller for the aircraft

yet, but I have one temporarily attached to the engine to set the cowling centered. Considering 1/4" lower of the cowl for the engine

sagging with time. I need the precise mesurement from the ring gear

foward flange to the foward face of the cowling, in order to get 1/8"

to 1/4" clearance with the back side of the spinner. I am planning to

use a Hartzell HC-F2YR-1F hub with the back plate and spinner sold by Lancair.

If anyone out there who as this step done and have the same configuration of power, that can measure this distance for me I would

appreciate  it  greatly . it should be arround + or - 4 inches

Thank you
