Give Mears Mazda a call. Tell the parts manager that you're on the Fly Rotary list. They extend a very generous courtesy discount to us rotor-heads. Sorry, I don't have the parts manager's name or phone number handy. I could provide it tomorrow though if nobody else has it handy.

But it's not a benign failure mode and I've been through 2 used ones
already. I'd really prefer to get a new or reconditioned part, or a
suitable idler gear, if anyone can suggest where I might find one at a
