things out pretty well for the majority of our purposes, wouldn't you
agree?

I don't know enough to agree :)  I'm one of those "electrically challenged"
people. I think I understand the theory of capacitors as "fill and dump"
reservoirs to keep voltage (pressure) more constant...(can hear the groans
from the EE's now :-) ) but I certainly don't know when it's needed or not
needed or how to size them even if I did!

That little program you recommended looks interesting - I may have to give
that a shot.
