Is there any particular brand of thermocouple that you all would
recommend that seems to hold up well under the stresses of the rotary exhaust
system? There are so many types and to choose from that I'd rather attempt
to get one that will last for a while prior to failure. Also from what
I've read it seems to be best to run continuous wires right from the
thermocouple and through the firewall to the gauge (EM2 in my case)...is that
what most of you have found to work the best, or can the leads be run
through a 24 pin connector (or similar device) at the firewall and then onto the
engine monitor? Thanks for any input...
I really thought this would be the year that I'd finally make Tracy's
get together but job constraints have conspired against me
again! To all heading down there have a fun and safe time!
