a couple of months back we discussed using a permanent magnet type alternator, similar to the one used in Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Does any of the 'Nuckolds' worries about runaway alternators have relevance to using PM Harley alternators? BR, Dave McC ( basic elec knowledge-no way an EE)
