Mazdatrix catalog shows An/Metric adapters for the oil cooler  and states that the fitting for the  Rear Housing of Engine

(also fits 86-92 Coolers - but only needed if you are making your own lines)  The adapter size given by Mazda for those years oil coolers is

ADAPTER -10 18MM THD  

So it appears that both holes in the oil cooler is 18mm.
