What year model is the cooler that you have? Attached are a couple of
photos of the cooler that I have. It came with straight fittings, not banjo
fittings. I am not sure what size the fittings threads are. I think the one
that I have is from an earlier model but I can't be positive of that. The
diagram that is in the Haynes manual shows a drawing of the oil system that
has a cooler that is the same as in your picture. It shows the inlet where
you indicate outlet and the outlet where you have the inlet. If I use this
particular cooler it is my intention to mount it with the Thermostat facing
up.
