Rusty, Mode 7 is preset in the EC2 to run all injectors
above 15" MAP. You can adjust it lower (I think)

The adjustment is to set the throttle for whatever
MAP you want the transition to occur at, and hit the set button in mode 7.
If I really want the transition to occur at a MAP below the engine operating
range, I'll have to use a vacuum pump to pull the MAP sensor down to that range,
then hit set in mode 7. That will be easy if the EC-2 will
accept a mode 7 setting with the engine not running. I suppose you
can still do this with the engine running, but it will be a bit
trickier. I'll ask Tracy about this today.
I agree that this shouldn't be
necessary, since Al is using the same injectors with no problems, but
I would like to try it for the sake of seeing how it works.
