Al/Dave,
Hangers at W23 Wild Rose are build your own on a 30 year lease. Normally,
40x40. Taxes, electricity and everything else amount to about $300 a year.
I can sell the hangar, and the new guy would get a new 30 year lease. Two
grass strips, one with lights, one used for skis only in winter. It has
occasional balloon launches and some ultralites, but easy to live with.
Mostly great people at the airport. My hangar door was trashed by a
windstorm while out of town. It was temporarily fixed by the locals there.

I almost feel guilty about building a Delta now. Not quite, but almost.
For the typical GA flyer that gets out to the airport once EVERY
weekend, the cheapest option boils down to a $100/flight premium. It
almost makes the local rental fleet look atractive. Not quite, but almost.
