True, his exit pipe was restrictive, however he measured the flow into the
inner tube with a pitot tube, and at higher throttle settings he found 45 mph
inlet flow. At idle/taxi speeds the flow came out the other way.

Bill, He sure hacked the thing up. I didn't have a chance to tell Ed to
make the center pipe a bit longer. Someone like Bernie Kerr with his rad
mounted cool side it would work fine. In fact I think a pusher would have been
a bad install except for the tail pipe. I intend to run two radiators in the
cheeks of the cowling and do the VAM concept folded under the engine. Or
possibly the newer inside-out concept.
