I was there for that. I remember looking up the center tube and seeing daylight at the other end. It was very short at the back, though, because of the engine stand. Also very noisy. Much louder than a turbo, Rusty :)

Hey John,

Glad to hear you're finally back to racking up hours, without stopping to tell us about one disaster or another.  So how about a turbo report?  Are you running the snot out of that thing, or just taking it easy still?  What sort of MAP are you getting at altitude?  Don't make me read your damn log, spoon feed me the condensed version :-)

Mine's been flawless for about 10 hours since the rebuild.  There are a couple mystery boxes on the way from Tracy, so hopefully, they're the latest software, and autotune.  I've really got my fingers crossed that they'll arrive tomorrow, or Sat, because I've already got the lid open for the new EFIS installation.  I've only got about 50 hours on the plane now, and I'm trying to wait until 100 before I start rev-5.  The turbo is still in the lead.

Cheers,
Rusty (the new Dynon is soooooo cool)
