Greetings,
I talked to ACES some more, and found that there are several other options for less money. The 2015 unit is really the same as the 2020, but it's software limited in a few ways. None of those are a factor for my purposes. The basic 2015 analyzer is "only" about $1300, but once you add the essential items, it can go up much higher.
Once I explained to them what I needed to be able to do, they sent me a couple more lower priced quotes. The bare minimum price is about $2800 for a 2015 system with one accelerometer, and one optical sensor. I opted for the $3100 option, which included a nice case, prop hub protractor, and mounts for the sensors. It should be here tomorrow, assuming I can be home to sign for it. Can't wait to balance my prop, engine, single rotor shafts, coffee mug, new intake, etc.
Cheers,
Rusty (yes, I'll be pimping myself out to the local experimentals)
Try balancing your priorities :)
