When I talked with max he didn't seem too interested in making another
turbo like John's for me.
Yea. Max comes across like that sometimes. Maybe the genius showing through

These guys also wanted a core, and they
took 3 months, but did a very nice job so far as I can tell.
What did they do, exactly? How does it compare with what Max does?

By the way, my summary of the new turbo so far:
1. Less oomph at take-off (but enough)
2. All the boost I can use, and then some
3. It's holding together so far.
