While I'm currently satisfied with the
performance of my homemade "SpinTech" muffler, I'm very intrigued by this one. I
could find no weights listed, but it looks like it shouldn't be more than ~7#.
What I find most appealing about this muffler is the claimed "cooler"
performance. It seems that they're implying an overall reduction in temps, due
to less backpressure as well as a cooling effect within the muffler. As some of
you may recall, I incorporated a muffler housing into the bottom of my fuselage
to keep the muffler out of the airstream and out of the cowl, however while it
doesn't get too hot, a reduction of this temp would be
welcome.

It looks to be very streamlined,
made of SS, lightweight, and has no packing. It sells for less than $200
(except for the 5” model). This looks like this just might be what I’ve
